In the past, when the deity of Oshima sought to reach this land, they initially asked the waves, but the request was declined.
So, they approached a whale, and the whale agreed to carry them.
Thanks to that, the deity of Oshima arrived on this land riding the whale.
The Stone of Oshima
In the past, a wealthy person stole beautiful stones from Oshima to use in their garden.
However, calamities struck one after another, leading to their downfall.
The place became abandoned, with no one willing to live there anymore.
Mockri Kokkri
Once, a colossal fish known as Mockri Kokkri attacked Oshima.
The island's deity fought back with bamboo arrows, but they were ineffective.
In a moment of distress, a single turnip arrow appeared before the shrine.
The deity used it to shoot the fish, and to everyone's surprise, the single turnip arrow multiplied into a thousand, successfully repelling and exterminating the fish.
